Clutch Pressure Plate, SRM
DESCRIPTION
CNC machined billet alloy clutch pressure plate with the essential "Needle roller lift" mechanism.
The billet pressure plate does not bend or flex like the original steel pressure plate which makes the clutch plates free off easier and bite better when clutch lever is released.
The needle roller lift mechanism fits in the end of the gearbox mainshaft and when the clutch lever is pulled in, the pressure plate lifts off the plates square and evenly and spins without any " wobble" this means the clutch springs can be tensioned up less than usual , and gives a much lighter and positive clutch, and better bite when the clutch lever is released.
A light two finger lift clutch operation is easily obtained by using these parts, also removes the gear " crunch" when changing gear and neutral is easily selected when at a stop.
Fits all BSA and Triumph 3 spring clutches fitted to the following models.
BSA A50 and A65, Triumph Unit T120 T140
Clutch pushrod will require shortening.
